POYNTING THEORY

This theory proves that the moving electrons through the wires getting their energy to generate heat because of the energy flowing into the wire from the field outside. (Lectures Feynman, II-27-8)
It is not a vital detail but is clear that our ordinary intuitious are quite wrong.
